 FLASH FICTION FLASH MARKETS-- JANUARY 2013 ISSUE

I'm going to use this second blog in part to list the flash literature markets from each of my monthy Flash Fiction Flash newsletters. (My other blog is at http://flashfictionblog.blogspot.com/  and it deals with other aspects of flash fiction.)

Acceptance rate is currently about 1% of submissions and they pay $50 per accepted piece (and signed contract).  Open to submissions January 15, 2013.  Will close to submissions on April 15, 2013.

NATURE'S "FUTURES" Section

Futures is the award-winning science-fiction section of Nature. Each Future story should be an entirely fictional, self-contained story between 850-950 words in length, and the genre should, broadly speaking, be 'hard' (that is, 'scientific' SF) rather than, say, outright fantasy, slipstream or horror.
